Job Description

This position is for a data scientist with working experience. It entails solving business problems by means of statistics and machine learning. There are problems that are specific to the gambling industry, such as identification of customers at risk of problem gambling, as well as those that are commonly found in other industries too, such as marketing optimization and customer churn prediction.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in applying statistics and machine learning in an industrial and/or an academic setting

  • Solid understanding of concepts from statistics and machine learning

  • Fluency in constructing machine-learning pipelines from start to finish, including data preparation, model selection, and performance evaluation

  • Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
