Job Description

Responsibilities

• Technically lead large enterprise level complex data science projects.
• Responsible to build a technical solution which provides reliable and accurate predictions which add value to business stakeholders.
• Build machine learning models to uncover patterns and generate predictions to provide business value to stakeholders.
• Use latest techniques & methodologies to build reliable and accurate predictions.
• Use latest packages and libraries to build machine learning models.
• Mentor and guide mid-level and junior data scientists.
• Coordinate with data engineers and ML engineers to build E2E ML solution.
• Analysis of model results to understand model performance and areas of improvement.
• Model explainability framework and system which will explain models to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build an ecosystem of learning and growing together through knowledge sharing sessions, collaboration etc.
• Model monitoring system to capture model drift
• Network with data owners to obtain required data from multiple sources
• Effectively communicate insights, model predictions and explain models in non-technical language to stakeholders/clients
• Experience Required:
• Extensive experience using statistics, mathematics, algorithms and programming languages to solve business problems using data science.
• Experienced in building and deploying multiple E2E data science projects with high complexity
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good programming skills (Python, R etc.) and deep understanding of diverse libraries and packages
• Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architecture.
• Clear understanding of complete life cycle of data science projects starting of inception to post deployment
• Experience in latest technologies like Databricks, Amazon SageMaker etc.
• Experience in deploying machine learning solutions in cloud environment.
• Understanding of structured and unstructured data, data management and data transformation methodologies.
• Worked directly with clients and stakeholders to explain model insights and predictions.
• Education:
• Master Degree or higher in one or more of the following quantitative disciplines, i.e. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computing.
