Title: PowerBuilder Developer

Position Overview:

PowerBuilder Developer is a key member of the Drug Rebate implementation and support team and is responsible for documenting client requirements and processes. Evaluating implementation artifacts and analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Support for medical drug rebate system with focus on troubleshooting and improving functionality.
• Provide analysis, documentation of technical design and communication of results.
• Interact with internal and external customers while maintaining focus on solutions, deadlines, and professionalism.
• Demonstrate flexibility and ability to handle a variety of assignments in various stages at the same time.
• Research identified issues to understand problem definition and provide potential solution(s).
• Operates independently and react rapidly in a complex organizational environment.
• Develop, document and execute unit test plans and compile results in defect management tools. Support Functional and User Acceptance Testing.
• Assist in creating simple to complex SQL queries to research issues or provide ad hoc reporting.
• Handle multiple demands and competing priorities with minimal direct supervision.

Preferred Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum of 5 years of related claims processing experience. Drug rebate knowledge preferred but not required. 
• PowerBuilder developer with 8+ years of experience. Drug rebate knowledge preferred but not required.
• Ability to compose SQL queries. Preferably in Oracle SQL.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
• Effective oral, written and presentation skills
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently and to problem-solve issues.
• Ability to learn and utilize proprietary software products.
