About the job

The Growth Lab team is an exciting team with executive visibility and works across functions and global product areas at Google. Our goal is to provide insights, best practices, tools, and services to help Product and Marketing teams spread Google brand awareness and get users to use more of Google products on different devices.

You’ll join a team of experienced and entrepreneurial growth marketers and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams around the world to help drive usage of all the major Google products.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Generate user insights by building machine learning models to guide personalization across user segments to manage sustainable long-term growth.
  • Mange end-to-end ideation, design, implementation, and measurement of multi-channel data driven growth campaigns and experiments (i.e., hypothesis design, statistical experimentation planning, exploratory data analysis, development of measurement frameworks, defining and building targeting sets through data engineering pipelines, launching experiments, measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) and forecasting projections).
  • Analyze existing campaign and product usage to identify growth opportunities. Develop automated dashboards for performance tracking.
  • Influence strategies with sophisticated quantitative business analysis across user segments and product journeys and build robust data-driven narratives.
  • Partner with non-technical and technical stakeholders to help frame business problems and associated technical solutions by asking the right questions, prioritizing requirements, and offering structured solutions.
