Job Description

The engineer is responsible for hardware, software system maintenance and application development to meet shop floor user’s request. Examples of work include IT infrastructure (Server / Client, database and network) management, shop floor application development, workflow integration, system implementation, on-call support if needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor existing systems to ensure structural integrity
• Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software
• Install and configure operating systems and other software and routinely test installed software for glitch detection and other issues
• Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety
• Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention
• Experience on network / database management is plus.
• Execute improvement projects in support of business goals to increase asset capability, improve quality, increase reliability and reduce cost
• Design and execute experiments in support of improving product quality and consistency

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor Degree of Computer science or Information Management
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL - Visual Basic, C#, ASP.NET., etc. - HMI/PLC programming
• Data Integrating, Reporting and Network basic concept
• CIM and Manufacturing background
• Experience on SPC / SAP / CAD is a plus
• Well English communication capability on listen, speaking, reading, writing.
• Six Sigma methodology experience required (Green Belt as minimum)
