The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) team is seeking a high energy individual with a strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning to develop and deliver instructional content across the enterprise. You will be part of a team of front-end and back-end developers, data engineers, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) specialists, product managers, and other data scientists.The AiMLabs team is focused on building a strong and vibrant AI/ML community at Lockheed Martin including tools, training, events, and knowledge sharing.

The selected candidate will be responsible for upskilling Lockheed Martin employees in AI/ML by curating, generating, and delivering content. Responsibilities include:

• Shaping the future of how AI/ML is used and adopted for a diverse set of applications including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and many customer missions
• •Serving as a go-to resource for people who want to enter the field or deliver their first AI/ML solution

• Creating blogs, tutorials, and how-to video training material for Lockheed Martin use cases, tools, and workflows in the AI/ML domain
• Delivering live courses to Lockheed Martin employees
• Working with team leads to identify training gaps and needs
• Evaluating new training material from third parties like NVIDIA, Udacity, Coursera, Data Camp, and more
• Must be a US citizen

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
• Demonstrated experience using machine learning frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow, MxNet, Caffe, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with Python and data science libraries (e.g. NumPy, OpenCV, Scikit, Pandas, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying machine learning solutions
• Experience interfacing with databases (e.g. SQL, MongoDB, AWS, etc.)
• Experience mentoring or teaching others in analytics and machine learning
• Excellent communication skills (e.g. speaking at conferences)
• Energized by enabling the success of others
• Comfortable operating autonomously and taking risks to achieve an overall vision
• Must be a US citizen

Desired Skills:

• Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Git [GitLab, GitHub]
• Experience with cloud computing (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience producing AI/ML related how-to content (blog, YouTube, books, tutorials)
• Strong understanding of the engineering development process
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications for RF signals, IIoT, NLP, and/or computer vision
