The Data Integration Manager is responsible for leading requirements gathering process, interpreting and translating requirements for a technical audience, and resolving priority of work efforts for the scrum team. The Data Integration Manager produces work plans for the scrum team in coordination with the scrum lead to ensure high-level target dates are achieved. The Data Integration Manager seeks to understand the big picture of data capability needs within Data & Analytics CoE. The Data Integration Manager will produce, and contribute to, data product roadmaps. The Data Integration Manager is equally comfortable navigating in-depth technical discussions and issue resolution, as well as, high-level feature discussion.

Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role

• Initiate and lead requirements discussion and solicit feedback from business teams
• Structure analysis framework for data profiling efforts across existing and legacy and systems
• Partner with IT and third-party vendors to ensure solution delivery and identify points of escalation
• Identify the appropriate documentation to meet “definition of ready” standards within scrum team framework
• Author requirement documentation including business requirements, entity relationship diagrams, process flows, report mockups and functional requirements
• Review and approve data solutions to ensure alignment against needs of internal and external clients
• Prepare and inform QA test plans and support QA team during test execution
• Provide direction to development team on data transformation documentation (source-to-target mapping/ETL)
• Plan and direct UAT test cycles including identification of required environments, test data sets and appropriate applications
• Prioritize workstreams to align work to product roadmaps
• Advanced understanding of database structures, software development lifecycle, data modeling and database performance concepts
• Advise internal teams on best practices within data integration and serve as data SME for the D&A CoE

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients

• 7+ years of related work experience
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business or IT Systems or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Experience managing direct reports and/or cross-functional team
• Advanced understanding of SQL, Alteryx or DataBricks
• Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite
• Analytically minded with strong logic and organizational skills
• Technical aptitude to collect, organize and prioritize data
• Ability to provide direction to cross-functional team members
