Your Impact:

Jacobs seeks a qualified and highly motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team working on-site in Chantilly, Virginia.

Duties of this role will include:

• Understand user requirements and apply advanced Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) techniques to detect events and identify patterns from a diverse set of data sources
• Develop and test ML/AI algorithms for use with large and diverse datasets including communication data and/or sensor data
• Working knowledge of Multivariate Regression, Logistical Regression, Decision Trees, Convolutional Neural Networks, Text Analysis, and Time Series Analysis
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to implement ML/AI algorithms on high performance processors in the cloud and in the field
• Collaborate with mission analyst to understand the value of information derived from data sources to develop and implement algorithms

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience and/or Master’s Degree in ML/AI
• Experience in ML/AI development and analysis using programming languages like Java, R, and Python, and experience with ML/AI applications like TensorFlow and CAFE
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in ML/AI
• 5+ years of relevant ML/AI experience
• Proven success working in a team environment with engineers and computer scientist
• Experience with signal processing and RF ML
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
