We are looking for a Real-World Data (RWD) Analytics Manager to join our Analytics & Insights practice. The Analytics Manager is expected to be an expert within the RWD Analytics team and deliver insights to our customers. The ideal candidate has an ability to see solutions in real world data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities and action for our customers. The RWD Analytics Manager will collaborate closely with Client & Clarivate stakeholders in a consultative manner and deliver analytics projects.

The RWD Analytics Manager will join a highly talented and fast-paced team, providing direction to analysts on project teams, developing new RWD analytics capabilities, and standardizing internal processes. The right person for the job will apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems faced by our customers and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams, and customer engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end stakeholder communication across delivery, operational excellence, solutions, and client engagement.
  • Lead customer projects using various data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide customer deliverables.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of insights from real world data - on-time, on-budget, quality delivery
  • Planning, organizing, and managing project resources to bring about the successful completion of client’s project goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that the deliverables meet delivery standards and meet customer satisfaction.
  • Design, build, manage and optimize processes for data analysis, validation, mining, and visualization
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
  • Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of data analysts and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.

This position can be worked remotely anywhere in North America. You will work with teams in North America (primarily Eastern Time) and internationally and must have the ability to work adjusted business hours as needed.

You must have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field,
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in a life sciences consulting/data analytics environment
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, R and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS)
  • Extensive knowledge of and proven experience in working with claims, EMR/EHR data, and exposure to working with large datasets
  • Ability to lead project teams and own project delivery
  • Strong ability to plan and manage multiple processes and projects simultaneously
  • Experience developing customer presentation deliverables
