Job Description

• Support the development of complex dashboards and reports for in stream medical and safety data review and informational updates using data analytics and visualization software.
• Demonstrate very strong attention to quality and detail and the ability to detect data anomalies.
• Learn and apply medical and scientific knowledge from a range of scientific areas to partner with experts to optimize and meet data analytics and visualization needs for clinical trials.
• Interact with internal partners utilizing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Engage Statistics, Statistical Programming, Data Management, and IT to gain access and working knowledge of data stores/lakes and key datasets.
• Maintain and improve existing SPOTFIRE and/or other data analytics dashboard solutions in compliance with industry data access and quality principles.
• Develop new reports and tools in SPOTFIRE and/or other data analytics platforms.
• Manage and implement data requirements for SPOTFIRE and/or other data analytics platforms.
• Deliver high quality SPOTFIRE and/or other data analytics platform reports for medical and safety decision-making and insight.

Education and Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Epidemiology, Statistics, or related field with ≥ 3.0 GPA
• Beginner or higher-level skills in SPOTFIRE
• At least 1 semester of programming in IronPython or Java
• At least 1 semester of programming in SAS or R
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Hands-on, conceptual thinker with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written fluency in English
• Very strong attention to quality and detail
• Minimum availability of 10 weeks (about 2 and a half months); up to 20 hours a week
• Candidates should expect to be operate during business hours for the internship. Flexible hours and days in office available
• Demonstrated interest in biotechnology and gene therapy industry
