Job Description

Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager is responsible for Sabay brand’s voice across the various social media platforms to maintain and raise the public perception of Sabay as a company. The Social Media Manager will help distributing our different contents and driving quality engagements with the community to ensure effective delivery of Sabay’s social media objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure content is posted timely across social media platforms
  • Respond to and address the community’s queries and complaints professionally
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Drive engagement and conversations with the community to promote brand loyalty
  • Identify tactical and relevant opportunities to engage with the community
  • Work closely with relevant teams to drive positive sentiment and optimize on content opportunities and brand consistency
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Ensure that Sabay image is appropriate and consistent across various social media platforms
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging contents daily; for examples, original text, photos, videos and news
  • Maintain brand integrity across activities, platforms, product lines, and all other internal and external communication
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Conduct researches on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Monitor and analyze industry best practice globally and locally, including content, social media and activation trends and activities of competitors
  • Prepare monthly social media platform and campaign reports
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager

Key Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualifications in marketing, PR, business, or related discipline; or equivalent business experience
  • 3+ years of experience working as a social media manager or in digital media, digital marketing, content development, or similar role. Bonus: experience in marketing or branding for online/digital products, media or technology
  • Proven capacity in developing successful brand strategy and campaigns. Bonus: experience in branding for innovation, technology or youth brands
  • Excellent creativity and imagination to generate concepts that are exciting and awe inspiring
  • Proven ability in Microsoft Office and online tools such as WordPress, Search Engine Optimisation, Google Analytics and social media platforms (particularly Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and Instagram)
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Team player who can build effective relationships across teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in multi-cultural and linguistically diverse settings
  • High level of clear written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Khmer and English. Other languages (Thai, Chinese, etc) an advantage
