Job Description

Castlight Health is seeking a summer Data Science Intern – Graduate Student. This position is open to locations in San Francisco, Salt Lake City, or remote. Come join us on the Castlight mission and help change healthcare for the better!

The intern will have the opportunity to work on impactful data science problems while partnering with experienced data scientists and engineers who help and challenge them as they work on projects that matter to our customers. Data scientists at Castlight deliver innovative results that empower customers to make the best choices for their health. These results come in the form of careful analyses, machine learning models, and production ready code and are built on a large, fascinating set of healthcare and web data.

INTERNSHIP DURATION: May-August 2022

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Pursuing a graduate degree with a focus in data science or machine learning for a university program with expected graduation date of May 2023 or earlier
•  Proficiency in python and core data science libraries such as numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, tensorflow, xgboost, etc.
• SQL experience is a plus
• Data Science fundamentals in any of the following: supervised or unsupervised learning, deep learning, statistical analysis, causal inference
• Demonstrated ability to work well collaboratively as well as solve problems independently
• Passion for learning
