Job Description

This Sr Data Analyst, Advanced Analytics & Reporting position is responsible for supporting the reporting and analytics function for the global finance organization, working closely with the other Finance CoE functions (Process Automation & Optimization and Data Governance & Strategy) to drive the finance digital transformation strategy, accelerating the global finance teams’ digital maturity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work within the Finance CoE team to support data analytics and reporting, building and managing a prioritized backlog of data analytics and reporting initiatives for the finance organization.
• Participate in and drive Value Stream Mapping (VSM) exercises for individual finance functional groups, providing advice on the data analytics and reporting components required to support the delivery of process automation and optimization initiatives for the finance organization.
• Provide insight and guidance on new finance initiatives by identifying the appropriate data analytics and reporting solutions to support the “to be” solution.
• Apply data science techniques and utilize tools to build data products to extract valuable business insights.
• Identify, design, and build AI and ML solutions for the finance organization. 
• Accelerate Finance’s digital maturity roadmap by promoting self-service solutions to the finance functional groups.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to work in a team environment and gain support/approval from all stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to new team members on our way of working.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent
• 4+ years’ relevant work experience
• 2+ years’ experience with Tableau or equivalent BI tools
• 2+ years’ experience in data mining working with large datasets in SQL and Alteryx (or similar ETL software solution)
• 2+ years’ experience in agile project delivery
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to self-manage multiple tasks and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent
• Experience with Snowflake data cloud
• Experience with Python and/or R open-source programming languages
• Experience with AI and ML techniques and tools e.g. DataRobot
• API development experience
