Role Description

The BI Analyst will support the development of the data pipelines which deliver resources critical to reporting, analysis, and efficient operations. Most importantly this role will drive the transformation of our legacy data processes as well as influence the data strategy for our organization. The candidate is expected to be data-savvy with a strong interest in both Finance and BI solutions. The candidate must demonstrate initiative, ownership, and passion, as well as excellent teamwork, and problem-solving skills. This position helps drive continuous improvement with a focus on scalability and maturity. The ideal candidate is someone who is flexible, change- and detail-oriented, a problem solver who possesses strong execution skills, and is comfortable with a fluid mix of projects and activities that change with the pace and priorities of the organization.

Your Impact

Working with business partners to optimize our data supply chain, you will design and build data curation processes and datasets that enable financial modeling, operations intelligence, and reporting of critical performance, cash flow, and scale metrics. You will help handle and design security for our data to ensure the right people have access in alignment with Finance and Enterprise standards. The role will involve accelerating our path to Data Management Maturity by maintaining data supply chain documentation such as metadata in Alation as well as query/code repositories so that information is shareable, searchable, and easy to be found. You will work closely with the Finance Office of Data as well as other Strategic Transformation Initiatives to help develop and implement our data strategy. By becoming an authority on the datasets and sharing this knowledge through documentation, user guides, and presentations you will enable the TFO team to deliver faster speed to value with our data.

Minimum Qualifications

•  2+ years of work experience in database, data infrastructure, data analysis, business analytics, or similar roles.
• Experience writing complex queries involving multiple data sources and complex business logic for SQL databases like (Snowflake, Postgres, etc.)
• 1-2+ years of Python scripting or ML tools experience
• Ability to quickly learn and understand Salesforce business processes
• Experience with data integration tools such as MuleSoft, Jitterbit, or APIs
• Experience with Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or similar data prep or process automation tools
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a dynamic environment 
• Detail-oriented with proven analytical, problem-solving skills
• Motivated to learn and improve existing processes
• Communicate clearly, consistently, and concisely with business partners
• Passion for high-quality data and data process excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud database/architecture
• Experience working with diverse data visualization tools like Tableau, Einstein Analytics (Tableau CRM), Power BI
• Salesforce experience/ certification is a plus but not required
• Experience with metadata management tools like Alation
• Background in Finance, Treasury, or similar CFO functions
• Familiar with Salesforce products and data structures
