Position Summary

This position will work closely with Clean Products business partners and IT peers to understand strategic business objectives and solve complex problems. The role will ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise technologies. Responsibilities include resolving problems, delivering value-added enhancements, gathering and documenting business requirements, and the coordination of users testing. A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and high work standards.

This position belongs to a family of jobs with increasing responsibility, competency, and skill level. Actual position title and pay grade will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects ensuring that projects adhere to all IT standards. Periodically reviews the applications and coordinates with audit during audit reviews.
  • Work directly with Business Partners to gather requirements and translate into functional specifications. Lead the testing process to ensure a quality product is delivered.
  • Develop business acumen to understand core business processes and desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of IT Developers and other IT Business Analysts to ensure solutions are implemented in a manner consistent with the MPC Agile processes.
  • Manage a product backlog of support, enhancements and project work; confirm alignment of priorities with business partners.
  • Ensure the security and compliance requirements of applications and business areas. Utilize appropriate methods, controls and documentation.
  • Clearly communicate thoughts, ideas, specifications and requirements with business clients and technical developers using appropriate means of communication.
  •  Proactively monitor and communicate the status of incidents and outages and drive resolution. Analyze the data and trends to identify a root cause; then drive to resolution.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related, or the equivalent per below:
  • An associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related plus an additional 2 years of professional work experience with information systems; OR
  • 4 years of professional work experience with information systems
  • 2 or more years of experience in an information technology role including some experience in a business systems analysis.
