Data and AI Analytics, Manager

This role involves managing a program to help the client meet strategic goals by providing accurate, reliable, and actionable data. The role will act as a cross-functional data champion, driving a cultural shift to

fully embrace and leverage data. The Data Strategy Manager will raise standards in data management through technology, governance, process, and compliance efforts.

The role involves working with senior leaders to help formulate the vision, framework and operating model needed to deliver business outcomes and value leveraging data and analytics.

In addition, this role will drive new data focused initiatives to identify and implement value creation opportunities.

It involves building a collaborative team to support the role, guiding front-line operations, forging strong client and partner relationships, and managing internal and external stakeholder expectations.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Day to Day Activities Include:

• Develop, implement and maintain a detailed project work plan, including appropriate controls, governance structures, timelines, budget and quality outcomes, as well as change enablement processes throughout the project
• Contribute to the sales process, including estimating work effort and expenses using Avanade's standard tools
• Define value of good data management and analytics and promote this to the wider team/function heads for broad buy-in
• Provide senior management with data analysis and reporting to inform effective decision-making
• Identify innovative ways of using data to meet client’s strategic aims
• Introduce frameworks, processes and practices to provide accurate, reliable and actionable data insights
• Build role as a cross-functional data champion to help create and maintain a data-centric culture

Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements:

• You likely possess a broad range of skills, including:
• Experience with contract terms
• Experience of at least one software development methodology
• Knowledge of Microsoft platform technologies
• Expertise in Microsoft Project
• Experience in earned value reporting
• Experience in managing teams
• Broad understanding of data and analytics concepts, current trends and related technology landscape
• Experience with large-scale analytics / data visualization projects
• Experience with Data Visualization Tools (PowerBI, Qliksense, Tableau)
• Understanding of data models
• Demonstrated ability to take abstract strategy concepts and translate into consumable documents
• Preferred Certifications:DA-100, PL-900, AZ-900, AI-900, Project Management / Scrum Certifications
• Preferred Years of Work Experience: Relevant professional experience and Management experience

• Scope of Work: Manages workloads across multiple workstreams within program
• Complexity: Complex problems across multiple disciplines requiring personal judgement of contextual factors
