Job Description

We are looking for an actuarial professional with data science experience to build a rewarding career supporting audit execution in Prudential Internal Audit Department.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in data science, predictive modeling, machine learning & artificial intelligence.
  • Practical understanding of risks inherent in data models that enable the effective challenge of data/model bias, selection of algorithm and features, explainability of results, accuracy of predictions. Model validation experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Python and/or R programing.
  • Exposure to actuarial work, including assumptions development, modeling, valuation, and/or pricing. Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or near ASA is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Self-motivated, enjoy problem-solving and innovation.

As an Audit Manager within the Financial, Actuarial, Investment, and Risk (FAIR) Audit Group, you will be a key contributor to our audit coverage in the predictive modeling and actuarial area across Prudential. This role provides the opportunity influence the rapid advancement of predictive modeling capability of the company.
