Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in experiment design, statistical modeling, or statistical inference.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in statistics, computer science, or mathematics.
  • Experience with analytic software tools and languages such as SQL, R, and Python.
  • Experience delivering analytics to stakeholders (e.g., problem scoping/definition, modeling, interpretation, and presentations).
  • Understanding of the statistical algorithms typically used in marketing analytics.
  • Ability to visualize models and results.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with advertisers and agency partners to understand their measurement goals and assess how Google measurement products can effectively address their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal Sales teams (e.g., Large Customer Sales, Display, YouTube, and Display and Video 360) to analyze and develop cross-channel insights to be presented to advertisers.
  • Lead and be the subject matter expert on experiment, causal analysis, and predictive model building.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Foster cross-functional collaboration providing advertisers with cohesive recommendations and encourage them to apply them into action.
  • Conduct analyses that include data gathering and requirements specification, exploratory data analysis (EDA), model development, and written and verbal delivery of results to business partners and executives.
