We are looking for a curious program manager who can influence and drive strong ownership, focusing on reducing customer effort by deeply understanding customer needs and creatively solving problems. You will earn the trust of our IT, Business, and program teams to deliver an inspiring vision and help build processes and prioritization mechanisms for the Enterprise Data & Analytics team to ensure we are growing in a high performing and optimized way. The ideal candidate will be seasoned in program management within the technology space with strong organizational change and communication skills. This person will have substantial, demonstrated experience in an agile and program model structure. This role requires a candidate who is strong at building relationships across functions to align strategies and drive execution. This person will be a strategic problem solver with an ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities while driving a plan to execution. This individual will play equal parts problem solver and doer, tackling the roles of strategist, operator, influencer and delivery specialist, and create an inclusive team environment that inspires a diversity of perspectives and bold ideas.

What you will work on

This role will lead programs and will be responsible for the end-to-end timely, on budget technology execution of the program, actively engaging key business and technology portfolio partners to ensure opportunities, risks and issues are understood and addressed. This person will co-create and help develop product dashboards, portfolio reporting and analysis activities. In this role there is plenty of opportunity to deliver frictionless customer capabilities leveraging cutting edge technologies in the eCommerce and Personalization domains.

Who you will work with

You'll work with multiple Businesses and Engineering teams at NIKE to help create world-class consumer experiences, as well as to understand the needs of the program, develop and execute a program communications plan, utilize program collaboration tools and manage the delivery of key technology solutions into market. You will work closely to coordinate with other Technology teams on dependencies across the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns and develops program/project plans, scope, schedule, and budget with accountability towards the deliverables
  • Owns and maintains the reporting on project or program status
  • Owns and manages the budget tracking and reporting process, including forecasting and variance analysis
  • Creates, assess, and implements risk mitigation plans to resolve negative impact to the project/program
  • Responsible for the delivery of project/program at quality with limited bugs, issues and unresolved tickets that may impact KPIs that include cost, timeframe, and user experience
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the program backlog that reflects product prioritization
  • Identifies project/program dependencies across teams and facilitates and builds consensus to ensure minimal risk to delivery
  • Responsible for removing barriers and dependencies that may affect timely delivery
  • Ensures teams have tools and resources needed to perform work effectively and communicates any resource needs

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • 5+ years of Technical Program Management experience; self-motivated, with a high sense of accountability, urgency, and drive.
  • 3+ years of ecommerce experience, including previous experience delivering technical programs.
  • Formal training in project or portfolio management methodologies and/or certifications
  • Experience running and executing multi-million-dollar budgets(>5M) across multiple technology platforms and business areas
  • Outstanding collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to clearly connect with business stakeholders, and Technology teams
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated proficiency with technical programs/projects
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies including SAFe, Kanban, and Scrum, as well as traditional waterfall methodologies
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Confluence (or similar tools)
  • Deep experience with tools such as Aha! JIRA, Confluence and Planisware
