Job Description
The mission of the Applied Machine Learning (AML) team is to drive substantial impact for core businesses of the company by designing next-generation recommendation-based algorithms and platform. We are looking for Machine Learning Engineers and Research Scientists to join our team to advance our mission together.
- Research large-scale multi-modal (vision, speech, natural language, etc) algorithms and deploy them in applications including search, recommendation and trust & safety
- Improve the large-scale distributed machine learning system that powers the research and deployment of multi-modal algorithms
Qualifications
- MS or above degree in Computer Science or related field with 1+ years industry experience
- Have solid programming skills and proficient in C/C++
- Familiar with at least one mainstream deep learning programming framework (TensorFlow/Caffe/MXNet) and familiar with its architecture and implementation mechanism
- Have 2+ years of engineering or algorithm experience in at least one field (vision, speech, natural language, etc.)
- Able to solve problems independently while good at team collaboration Preferred Qualification
- Experience in multi-modal joint training or modeling
- Approved performances in international competitions in related fields (such as VQA, Image Captioning/Retrieval, etc.)
- Published high quality papers in related international conferences (CV and NLP, etc.)
