Anduril’s autonomy team is developing autonomous behaviors and strategies for missions involving aerial and ground-based platforms. Our systems often operate in distributed teams, jointly solving tasks and responding to new sensor data while allocating assets and resources in strategic ways. We deploy our software to third-party aircraft, integrating with their flight and payload systems to push autonomy to the edge, enabling responsive behaviors and on-demand vehicle tasking.

As a Senior Autonomy Engineer,

You will work with customers to define autonomous behaviors and scope vehicle integrations.

You will engage with a core group of software engineers dedicated to the program, and interface with other teams to ensure timely resourcing for cross-functional work and to align goals and technical objectives.

You will need to understand the program’s autonomy architecture and ensure that details in each component of the system will successfully integrate. The right person for this role has a strong background in software/autonomy systems development, is able to actively engage with engineers to unblock efforts and help close out risks, and has a high degree of confidence and accountability for program deliverables. If you are someone who has a passion for autonomous systems, excels when faced with key deadlines, and has the drive to rapidly deploy systems to customers, then this role is for you.
