What You Will Do

• Investigate laboratory automation integrations with instruments, sensors, and ELN/LIMS
• Develop data pipelines to harmonize, transform, and analyze scientific data sets
• Rapidly prototype technical solutions and evolve them into production-grade systems
• Participate in cross-functional projects spanning business analysis, software engineering, architectural design, and customer use cases.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership; leverage professional experience to recommend best practices, systems, and architectures.
• Collaborate in code reviews and document workflow best practices.
• Adapt and scale existing systems to support growth and innovation across the company
• Mentor junior team members and create a culture following the TetraScience core values

Requirements

What You Have Done

• 5+ years of experience developing and shipping software
• Python proficiency highly desirable
• 2+ years of experience with laboratory informatics, including automation platforms or ELN/LIMS systems
• Previous experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
• Passion for life sciences, healthcare, and bioinformatics acceleration
• Ph.D. degree with prior experience in Biopharma or technical vendor preferred.
• Experience delivering software throughout the product life cycle: from requirement gathering, through prototyping, to production, iteration, and growth
• Experience with RESTful API architecture
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with container-based software deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience developing software under regulated environments (FDA, CLIA, ISO)
