Job Description

What you will work on:

  • Manage Databases – Define and implement a database strategy and model to bring in various sources of data together (e.g. ERPs, Salesforce, SAP, pCube, etc). Acquire, clean and structure data from multiple sources and maintain databases/data systems. Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Automate reporting – You would be required to work with the analysts to define and implement real time dashboards and implement a standard reporting app
  • Prediction Models – Define use cases which would be solved with AI. Develop, prototype, test and implement the models.

  • Shape the Digital strategy for Nokia’s Enterprise business – As an early Data Science expert in our team, you will get a chance to define how we build our strategy and systems to make full use of automation and AI
  • Learn about tools and systems like Salesforce, ERPs and Power BI through our skilled teams and internal knowledge centres
  • Understanding Telecommunications industry - You will learn the core of the telecom business through daily interaction with the Sales support team.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program focussing on Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, Statistics or a related field
  • You know how to work a problem from beginning to end with data science tools and techniques, including data manipulation (SQL, Hadoop, etc.) and programming (R, Python, XML, JavaScript, or ETL) frameworks
  • Experience with databases is essential. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
  • Technical knowledge in descriptive and predictive modelling along with Machine learning skills
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R

  • Power BI development and administration.
  • Relational databases knowledge (data models, MS-SQL, design techniques)
  • Knowledge and understanding of ETL, Data Warehouse and Big Data processes
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Creative and experimental mind-set to data technology
  • Mindset towards automation

Technologies used

  • Power BI, Power Apps, Python, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory or similar Cloud Platforms (e.g AWS, GCP)
  • Interest or Undergraduate education in Machine learning technologies (classification with SVM, Decision Trees, Logistic Regression)
  • Excel VBA
