Job Description

McAfee is hiring a Business Analyst Intern for the summer starting May 24th to August 2022. You will be reporting to the Strategic Partner Director under the consumer products business unit. As part of this team, you will be working on live projects in improving business operations, analyzing data, creating dashboards and reporting your findings and recommendations to the team. You will be working with different teams within this business unit to understand the processes holistically.

About the Role

As an intern, you will be engaged in live projects and working with multiple teams under the consumer products business unit. During the internship, you will be adding value in our business with your analytical work and recommendations.

• Build a working relationship with our internal and external partners
• Communicate with all program stakeholders and users for awareness, changes, improvements, etc.
• Own projects to improve business operations, dashboards, and reporting
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, Partner Solutions, and Program Management teams to implement best practices, optimize processes, increase operational efficiency, while setting measuring, and tracking KPIs
• Identity project milestones and goals, and manage assigned project deliverables to ensure timely delivery

About You

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Technical, or related. Graduating AFTER August 2023
• Skills or classes in data analytics, data science or related
• Highly proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint to be able to analyze, calculate and summarize data for reporting and presentations
• Able to build strong rapport and relationships
• Demonstrated skills in being detail oriented, organized and exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and comfortable working remote (at first)
• Quick learner who proactively owns the role
• Excellent time management skills
• Eligible to work in United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future
• Live within a commutable distance to McAfee’s Plano, TX office in case we are recalled to the office during your internship
