We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Sr. Data Architect who is passionate about building out scalable solutions using the best of breed technologies to own application architecture for a complex portfolio of data initiatives. You will focus on building the next-generation intelligence platform scaling insights and analytics internally across the business functions to enable self-service analytics. The person in this role would collaborate and partner with both our Northern America & Hyderabad architects and agile development teams.

Responsibilities

• Define the layers and components of an Enterprise Data Architecture to enable self-service analytics.
• Design technical strategies and roadmaps for Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Analytics, Reporting & Data Science.
• Design data governance frameworks by outlining the aims and objectives for Data Security, Data Quality, Data Cataloging, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, etc.
• Participate in efforts to identify new software selection including the development of RFI/RFP.
• Lead proof of concepts and development of evaluation matrix through final recommendation, including hands-on execution where needed.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to team leads and help establish consistent adoption of technical design across all initiatives in our portfolio.
• Analyze cross-functional business processes, identify solutions, assess the feasibility, and provide recommendations.
• Continuously identify opportunities for automation and reduction of technical debt.
• Contribute to solution scoping and effort sizing with cross-functional teams.
• Stay current with emerging technologies as it relates to Data and provide architectural recommendations based on business requirements and strategies for the enterprise.

Qualifications Requirements

• Total of 15+ years of relevant experience delivering solutions that support both batch and real-time data products & platforms using best-in-class technologies like Snowflake (or other Cloud Data Warehouse solutions), Kafka, Hadoop, Presto, Spark, and migration to public cloud infrastructures including AWS/Azure/GCP.
• 4+ years of experience architecting and implementing Data Lake solutions in service to evolving business needs.
• Proficiency in Data Management Lifecycle - Data Analysis, Profiling, Capacity Planning, Data Modeling, ETL Design, BI and Analytics Design, etc.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) & Continuous Training (CT) concepts.
• Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, DataOps, MLOps delivery practices, and methodologies.
• Preferred experience in Technologies like - Snowflake, Python, Jupiter, dbt, Mulesoft, and Tableau
• Preferred experience implementing AI/ML services at large enterprises and start-ups utilizing various ML Platforms like SageMaker, JupiterHub, Databricks, Kubeflow etc.
• Preferred experience with Machine Learning model development, deployment, tuning, and managing techniques using tools like scikit-learn, TensorFlow etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, or a related program is preferred.
• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams preferred.

This role is Office-Flex (~1-3 days/wk in office) or Fully Remote
