Job Description

  • Ability to lead the team of data engineers and deliver projects on time Expertise in working on building data pipelines using AWS services ((structured & unstructured data)
  • Understanding of different AWS services - Spark, EMR, DynamoDB, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, Snowflake Experience with AWS Glue and AWS S3 buckets.
  • Looking at intermediate to expert level hands on experience Expertise to handle large sized data and building up best practises around data engineering within the organization.
  • Ability to be able to come up with effort estimation for large scale data engineering projects
  • Ability to work with business team to understand the use case and attend client workshops to lead discussions from data engineering front.
  • Experience with working with Sybase/Oracle databases is a plus Understanding of basics of machine learning model lifecycle.
  • Having worked in recommendation kind of projects is a plus Strong knowledge of one or more scripting language (Python/Spark/SCALA)
