Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in business/media measurement, consulting, financial analysis, a customer-facing role, or another quantitative and/or equivalent field

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with leading third-party measurement, site analytics (e.g., Adobe, Omniture), Customer Relationship Management, and data systems
  • Knowledge of Firebase or other App measurement tools
  • Knowledge of Google measurement capabilities across ad and media platforms including Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Google Analytics
  • Knowledge and direct experience with Implementation/Configuration of Measurement, Web Analytics or Attribution Strategy including: Data-Driven Attribution/Non-Last Click Attribution, Cross-Device Measurement, Conversion Tracking, Geo-Experiments, Incrementality/Lift, Online-to-Offline measurement, Offline Data Import and implementing advanced Google Analytics features
  • Excellent SQL skills

Measurement Leads (MLs) are specialists with a strategic focus of helping advertisers scale their use of Google measurement and attribution solutions and actioning on the insights produced. MLs possess deep product expertise in specific Google measurement solutions including how it connects to other Google products like Smart-Bidding.

In this role, you'll help Analytical Leads (ALs), Large Customer Sales pods and advertisers deploy the latest measurement technologies, and use your knowledge of Google Analytics and measurement solutions within Google Ads and Search Ads 360. You'll utilize your understanding of industry practices, digital media trends, analytical abilities and persuasive influencing skills to convince advertisers to take the necessary actions to properly determine brand, media customer value, and channel impact.

In addition, you will understand third-party measurement offerings. You will be aligned at the vertical level and may be asked to customize activation plans, track progress, or drive initiatives specific to their book of business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide measurement product expertise to Analytical Leads, specialists, and pods in order for them to position Google measurement solutions accurately in-market (may include internal/external training and/or leading consults with advertisers).
  • Partner with Go-to-Market teams to provide market-to-product feedback, develop business cases for feature requests, and influence product prioritization.
  • Consult with advertisers and agency partners to understand their measurement goals and assess how Google measurement products can effectively address their needs.
  • Partner with Analytical Leads, specialists, and pods to drive adoption of measurement solutions, and convince advertiser stakeholders to apply learnings, insights, and recommended actions.
