What’s the job?

Fiverr is looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a proven record in web development who will create new data-oriented tools and empower internal teams, by harnessing Fiverr’s data and technological stack. You’ll join our Data Tools team which is part of the Data department.

The Data Tools team is focused on building tailored-made solutions that help internal teams with challenging tasks such as A/B testing analysis, self-service automation tools (for ETLs, reporting, monitoring, etc.), and data observability while creating both client and server-side.

What am I going to do?

• Develop in-house full stack applications for providing self-service tools.
• Work with product and business units to provide customized solutions to support their day-to-day tasks.
• Take part in the product development lifecycle, such as gathering requirements, design, stakeholder feedback and execution.
• Develop, optimize and maintain databases for internal products.
• Work closely with tech teams on the design and implementation of applicative data solutions.

What are the qualifications?

• At least 2 years of proven experience with Python - a must.
• Experience with web development using javascript/react - big advantage.
• Experience with Django framework - big advantage.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB/Redis.
• Experience with big data databases like BigQuery/Snowflake.
• Experience with big data streaming solutions like Kafka/Kinesis.
• Very high level of SQL and database optimization.
• Experience with 24/7 systems and real-time analytics.
• A./B.Sc. in industrial/information systems engineering, computer science, statistics, or equivalent.
