Yelp is looking for a Product Manager to build state-of-the-art search features and algorithms. In this highly visible and impactful role, you’ll use machine learning to deliver personalized, context-aware business recommendations for billions of searches every year.

Where You Come In:

• Work with the team to develop creative machine learning and information retrieval ideas to improve Yelp search, and carry those ideas all the way through to launch
• Perform and direct analyses to deeply understand what is happening in our search product and identify new areas for our engineering teams to focus on
• Have a healthy obsession for experimentation and data: validating hypotheses & iterating quickly
• Play a key role in ensuring that product efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals

What It Takes To Succeed:

• Based or willing to relocate within the United Kingdom
• Problem solver: loves to figure out complex, unstructured problems and constantly thinks about how to make processes more efficient; you can do your own analysis using iPython and SQL
• Several years of search ranking product management experience
• Ability to bring focus: knows what matters most to make the business successful and are able to effectively translate that focus to the team 
• Bias towards action: you’re a great collaborator, master disambiguator, and are constantly pushing toward clarity and results
• Tech savvy: experience solving difficult, company-critical technical problems
