Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience within management consulting, investment banking, business operations, or corporate strategy at a technology/media company

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, graduate degree, or equivalent practical experience in a technical, quantitative, or business field
  • Experience with strategic and operational projects, cross-functional stakeholder management and project management, including the ability to work autonomously and keep multiple priorities moving at the same time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels, including cross-functional peers, and executive leadership
  • Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills (spreadsheets/modeling, SQL) with sound business judgment
  • Highly collaborative, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Interest in business development and strategic partnerships

The YouTube Partnership Enablement Team is focused on providing comprehensive services and solutions to YouTube partners and our internal Content and Product Partnerships teams. Our multifaceted team members work together with various stakeholders throughout YouTube to address our partners’ most pressing needs on YouTube We develop cross-functional programs and go-to-market resources for products, policies, and strategies that are important for YouTube’s partner ecosystem.

As a Business Operations Program Manager for YouTube Product Partnerships, you will work closely with the leadership team to help the business grow and operate effectively, ensuring our teams are executing against YouTube’s most critical priorities and helping to build the infrastructure to measure, manage, and disseminate our impact around the organization. You will drive operating processes for Annual Planning and the team’s Objectives and Key Results to monitor progress across strategic product initiatives, and to feed into executive forums to drive alignment among key product, regional, and functional leadership. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams of business intelligence analysts, data scientists, and tools developers to automate and streamline these critical reporting and management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the team’s global annual planning and objective and key results (OKR) processes in close collaboration with cross-functional leadership to ensure awareness and alignment
  • Identify problems and issues across the organization, create programs and processes to solve them, and influence cross-functional teams and leadership to bring them to life
  • Partner with business intelligence, tools, and data science teams to prioritize, design, and implement solutions for measuring our business and automate reporting
  • Lead critical strategic and operational projects based on emergent business needs. Participate in early discussions on behalf of the business (including with cross-functional teams) to scope new projects
