We are now offering an exciting opportunity to join our team supporting our Early Respiratory & Immunology stage portfolio as a Statistical Science Associate Director or Director, depending on your background and experience. In this role you’ll be part of the Early Biometrics & Statistical Innovation (EB&SI) Group which belongs to the Data Science and AI Department. Our teams use their expertise in statistics and programming to address drug development objectives and reduce uncertainty in product development, driving better business decisions with quantitative reasoning. The position can be based in Gothenburg (Sweden), Cambridge (UK), Gaithersburg (US) or Warsaw (Poland).

What you’ll do
In this role you’ll lead the delivery and oversight on multiple studies/indications within a drug project, potentially as a Global Project Statistician. You’ll participate in adapting and developing statistical methodology.
With your unique skills you’ll contribute to the basis for innovative drug development. Working cross-functionally and within an international environment you’ll lead the statistical thinking and contribute to the delivery of early development studies, development plans, regulatory strategy, health technology assessment and commercial evaluation. As a subject matter expert and with excellent project management skills you’ll guide statistical staff and/or CRO partners, to ensure delivery to standards, quality and time. Additionally, you’ll mentor and support the education of early statistical talent.
