Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

This Sr. Associate Data Scientist will work with Global Clinical Supply (GCS) customers to deliver analytics and predictive modeling solutions. The candidate will understand data needs, develop AI and ML models, and visualizations. The candidate will also work on Proof-of-Concept projects to demonstrate how AI and ML technology can solve real world problems. This role will perform Data Science responsibility as defined in the Position Responsibilities section and deep data skills and analytic techniques will be a plus for any candidate.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with the business partner to establish relationships with customers and understands data needs for analytics and predictive modeling.
• Under the direction of the Product Owner, the candidate delivers prototypes to customers in response to needs. 
• Understands data landscape and potential gaps in data needed for analytic purposes.
• Develops algorithms to support use case and productionizes capability for steady state implementation in the customer workflows.
• Develops documentation including initial requirements and design for analytics and modelling use cases.
• Tunes solutions for optimal performance for real-world implementation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BS or BA degree in a scientific discipline or computer science.
• Relevant experience in Information Technology in the context of pharmaceutical industry.
• 3+ years of experience using data organization techniques, L and AI algorithms.
• Candidate must demonstrate skills or an aptitude for analysis, problem solving, organization, written communication, and facilitation.
• Technical Knowledge of IT Solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience using AWS Capabilities
• Big Data Skills
• Advanced degree in related field
