Job Description

This role will require you to work closely with the Engineering team to design, build, and maintain systems. This includes setting up monitoring solutions, configuring and adding new servers/services periodically and maintain existing and future custom application code and configuration.

You will also regularly interface with developers and team members for capacity and architecture planning and make recommendations for improvements to existing architecture. You will also participate in regular deployments of code updates.

LOCATION: Hyderabad

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the adoption of Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development and Agile best practices, processes, and tools
• Design, implement and migration of build and release management processes to support development processes
• Perform system build and release when assistance is required – this is key to identifying areas for improvement
• Ensure the uptime, availability and proper performance of all components
• Some after-hours work will be required from time to time

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 1+ years’ experience in a 24×7 high-availability production environment
• 1 + years of administration experience with development tools, like build automation, continuous integration, code analysis tools, deployment scripting as well as application and infrastructure monitoring
• Unix/Linux operating system (including Shell, Perl or Python or Ruby scripting)
• Previous experience in release engineering and/or configuration management
• Excellent organizational skills, and oral and written communication skills
• Good Analytical Skills / Trouble shooting skills

MUST HAVE SKILLS 

• Knowledge (and interest) of open source build automation, continuous integration and code analysis and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of automated deployment scripting, tools and techniques
• Unix/Linux operating system (including Shell, Perl or Python or Ruby scripting)

OTHER SKILLS WE’D APPRECIATE

• Administration experience with Build Automation and Continuous Integration (CI) tools, such as Jenkins
• Experience in configuration and monitoring software like Icinga2

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

• Graduate in Engineering OR Masters in Computer Applications
