Job Description
We develop special technical solutions that help the Support, Moderation and Antispam teams make VKontakte a convenient and safe platform for everyone.
We are currently looking for an ML Engineer to strengthen our team.
You will:
• develop models/pipelines for the analysis of statistical, tabular data;
• engage in feature engineering, create new quality metrics;
• maintain and improve the work of created solutions in the face of continuous data change.
We are interested because:
• you will get the freedom to implement your own methods on large amounts of data;
• You will deal with the most pressing social good issues.
We expect you to:
• have competencies in such areas as: classification and clustering of data, probability theory, mathematical statistics, linear algebra, methods of dimensionality reduction and information retrieval;
• know how to develop models and algorithms for classification, clustering, searching for heterogeneous data, metrics for assessing the quality and validating the solutions created;
• have practical experience with such frameworks and libraries as scikit-learn, Pandas, XGBoost/CatBoost/LightGBM, Matplotlib;
• know how to set up and work with Docker, environments, laptops and other routine;
• write in Python, know how to use Bash, but if you suddenly also own deep learning technologies, then generally super.
