Job Description
We are developing a service for VKontakte retention management. Every day we send hundreds of millions of push notifications, managing this flow allows you to increase the size of the audience and its involvement. Our task is to find the perfect balance of the system, in which users will receive maximum relevant content and not be annoyed by annoying spam notifications.
We are looking for a specialist who will strengthen our team.
You will:
• create new types of notifications and optimize the operation of existing ones;
• add new triggers to send them;
• engage in the implementation of ML-algorithms that will reduce the volume of sent notifications.
We are interested because:
• the results of your work directly affect the audience of VKontakte;
• It is possible to protect 100 million users from annoying irrelevant content.
We expect you to:
• be proficient in PHP;
• know network stacks and data transfer protocols;
• understand classical algorithms and data structures.
It will be a plus if you know JS, Java, Go, C++ or Python.
